S P A C E

I got this idea about two weeks ago when putting the magnets on my fridge. About a week ago I started to set up the shot. I knew I wanted to do a simple one snooted light setup to add visual interest to an otherwise flat subject.
Well, partway through my efforts, the strobe started sizzling, popped really loud, then began smoking. Not a good sign. I have never put the strobe through any excessive use, or used it in any extreme environments, so I'm guessing it was just a bad copy.
That stopped my attempts for the day, mainly because I was ticked that my strobe exploaded. (Thankfully Gadget Infinity is sending me a new one).
So today I tried it again with another one of my 285HVs (no explosions this time!) and got the shot I wanted.
Lighting info: One Vivitar 285HV on 1/16th through a a rectangular snoot made of a wheat thins box cut in half, converted into a circular snoot (a toilet paper tube). Yeah, it's sketchy. The fridge was a very specular surface so I had to point the light at about a 45˚ angle to the fridge in order to avoid the reflection of the strobe.
Here are some setup shots:
