I Love You Mom, You Will Be Missed Dearly

Early this morning, my mother passed away. Although I am not in the state of mind to share all that's on my heart, I will at least say this—

My mom was a giver. All of her life she considered others above herself. She will always be loved and dearly remembered.

I take great comfort in knowing that my mother loved Jesus above all else and is now enjoying the presence of God! Though her body has died, my mom—her spirit—lives on and will continue to live forever.

I appreciate everyone's prayers and support throughout this ordeal.

I love you mom!

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. I can't even begin to imagine what that must be like. You are in my prayers...

Your mom was an amazing woman... Her legacy will continue to live in those she loved so dearly. I knew her as a volunteer mom at school, and a Godly example for me at church and in life. Though my initial reaction to her illness was, "...but her work on this earth isn't done...," I'm realizing that it is up to all of us to pick up where she left off, and in some small way, try to do justice to the work that she did so effortlessly. She loved her family deeply, that was very evident. I am a better person for having known her.

Every day is a gift; we don't have any guarantees of tomorrow. The thought of Janet looking into the face of Jesus is the only thing that makes sense right now. I will continue to pray for your family...

Oh my goodness! Kevin I had no idea! I have absolutely no experience like this, so I can't claim to know how this feels one bit.

But I do know one of my friends who lost his mom found that reading CS Lewis' "A Grief Observed" was very comforting as CS is very honest and open in that book.

Thanks for welcoming me to blogspot! I am back in Texas from New Zealand and ready to make some changes :)
