Parking Lot HDR

(Click on photo to see larger version)

I took this photo quite a while ago, but I don't remember if I ever got around to posting it. It was taken in the Santa Fe College overflow parking lot. It's an HDR image made from 3 bracketed exposures. The flares in the streetlights are caused by the long exposures. I processed the shot using Photoshop CS2's HDR plugin (this was before I had Photomatix). It turned out well but it wasn't nearly as intuitive as Photomatix.

I like it! Did you illuminate the tree in the middle with anything? Or was it just ambient light?

The streetlights gave the tree the nice rim lighting, and the long exposure helped brighten it some, but it was definitely boosted by the HDR processing.
