On September 6th, 2008, Janet Sue Dunwoody Cloutier, one of the founders of The Love We Breathe Ministries, went home to Heaven and is now rejoicing in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Because of her deep love for the people of Haiti, her family asks that all gifts be directed to The Love We Breathe Ministries.
Since her first trip to the impoverished nation of Haiti in 1998, Janet truly lived out the words of Psalm 82:3-4a:
Psalm 82:3-4a (NIV)
Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless;
maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.
Rescue the weak and needy;
Her unwavering passion was particularly evident in her love for an otherwise frequently overlooked group—those with handicaps and special needs. Janet recognized that each person, regardless of age, gender, ability, or anything else, has been uniquely and intentionally created by God and has a purpose in life. She gave her all to serving others from all walks of life and was a beautiful example of godliness to all those who were blessed to know her. Janet will be deeply missed, but her legacy will continue through all of the many lives she touched while here on earth.
Currently, we are raising money to provide food and medicine for the children at Notre Maison, an orphanage in Port-au-Prince, Haiti for handicapped children and those with medical problems.
